CHESTNUT

LIR Evolution, in cooperation with 11 partners from the EU, is implementing the project CHESTNUT- Comprehensive elaboration of strategic plans for sustainable urban transport. The project is funded through the Danube Transnational Cooperation Program and implemented from December 2016 to the end of May 2019.

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the reduction of the use of private cars by 2-3% within 5 years and thus develop better connectivity, environmentally friendly transport and a safe system of functional urban areas of the Danube Region, based on the integration between more sustainable modes of transport such as public transport, biking, hiking, and e-vehicles.

LIR Evolution, in cooperation with the City of Banja Luka, will develop the Scenarios of sustainable transport, the Feasibility study for multimodal transport systems, and prepare the Sustainable Urban Mobility Transport Plan.
