Mr. Slavisa Jelisic is a Senior EE/RE Engineering Expert with over 20 years of experiences in preparation and implementation of projects, feasibility studies and trainings of technical aspects in fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects; waste management, environmental protection, and circular economy. He has held prominent roles in a number of projects as a project manager, a technical consultant, and trainer for international financial institutions including the EU, EBRD, UNEP, USAID, USDA, GIZ, SIDA, UNDP and others. Furthermore, Mr. Jelisic has extended experiences in preparation of strategic documents (e.g. Sustainable Energy Action Plans, Energy efficiency action plans, drafting of energy laws, adaptation of EU regulations in the fields of waste management, energy and environment); preparing waste management plans and studies; and design and implemented technical capacity building. He was a member of a team of experts for preparation of the Second National Communication on climate change for BiH (UNDP) and has experience in green SME restructuring and business planning in different industries (metal processing, wood processing, textile, food processing).

Project manager with over three years of professional experience in business development, international cooperation, and sustainable development. He has participated in the preparation and implementation of projects funded by the European Union and international donors, focusing on environmental protection, energy efficiency, employment, and the circular economy. At LIR Evolution, he is engaged in drafting project documentation, monitoring project implementation, preparing technical and narrative reports, and coordinating daily project activities. Prior to joining LIR Evolution, he worked in the Department for International Cooperation and Projects of the City of Banja Luka, where he was responsible for developing and implementing projects in the field of economic and local development. During his time in city administration, he organized the first Citizens’ Assembly through a deliberative process in Banja Luka and worked on the preparation of action plans and feasibility studies in the field of economics. He possesses knowledge and skills in project cycle management, budgeting, financial monitoring and reporting, as well as experience in cooperation with international partners and organizations. He holds a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka.

Since 2017, engaged in the preparation and implementation of local, regional and international projects. Experience in all phases of the project cycle, including preparation of project proposals, organization of promotional and educational events, work with target groups and stakeholders, preparation of narrative and financial reports, as well as communication and dissemination. He was a member of the team of the first coordinating Horizon2020 project in BiH (SMARTWATER), as well as the first coordinating Erasmus+ project in BiH (VIRAL). He is a co-author of over 30 scientific and professional papers, including papers in SCI journals. Areas of interest include research on energy efficiency, climate change, rural development, environmental protection and sustainable land and water management.
