LIR Evolution in collaboraton with the European Center for Renewable Energy Güssing from Austria, organized 2-days webinar on the topic:“ Energy efficiency management and Best Practices in Public buildings“.

The aim of the IMPROEN project is to transfer knowledge and best practices in field of energy efficiency, and contribute to improvement of energy efficiency in public buildings in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the first day of the webinar, the partners discussed the importance of energy audits and energy monitoring for proper energy management and achieving optimal energy efficiency, as well as the European energy framework, policies, strategies, action plans, current and future trends.

On the second day of the webinar, potential sources of funding for energy efficiency improvement projects were presented, as well as practical examples of implementing energy efficiency measures in public buildings in Austria.

The project is funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) through the BACID fund managed by the Austrian Association of Towns and Villages (AACT) and the KDZ Center for Public Administration Research.
