LIR Evolution team participated at the second ENV-net Regional conference about circular economy on 5-6th of March 2020 in Tirana.

The first conference, held in Belgrade, served to introduce the concept of Circular Economy and provide a scan of the circular economy practices in each of the countries in the region. To further feed this discussion, the second Regional conference was organized in Tirana, where analyses from each country in the region were introduced, followed by discussions from the European perspective, the challenges when it comes to application of the Circular Economy principles, and the role municipalities can play in further promoting this economic model.

The env.net network, composed by 9 organizations, was created for the implementation of a joint action in West Balkan and Turkey: giving citizens a voice to influence the environmental process reforms for closer EU integration.
