The Kick-Off meeting within the project INOVAR- Increasing the competitiveness and innovativeness of metalprocessing sector through the development of Public and Private Partnership was held on 27th of December 2017 in the Municipality of Derventa.

The overall objective of the project is to increase competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the metalprocessing sector by enhancing public and private cooperation in matching supply and demand of the labor market and increasing innovativeness of education system in the Municipality of Derventa.

During the meeting, the project partners, LIR Evolution, the Municipality of Derventa and the company Metalac MBM d.o.o. signed the Partnership Agreement.

The project is financed through the EU ProLocal Program. Within the project, the reconstruction of the classroom in the Derventa Vocational and Technical School will be conducted. The classroom will be equiped with modern equipment for autogenous welding to be used by the pupils during the practical training sessions.
