The project LEP Krajina – Improving the labor market and increasing employment in Northern Krajina is implemented within the framework of the project ““EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II). Overall objective of the project is to increase the efficiency of the labor market and enable decent employment by matching supply and demand through the actions of all relevant actors in the target area of Krajina.
Project partners are LIR Evolution, Republika Srpska Public Employment Service, City of Laktaši, City of Derventa, Vocational and technical school Derventa, Lanaco d.o.o, Novi Jelšingrad d.o.o. Banja Luka.
Within the project will be conducted trainings in metal processing, basic IT trainings, advanced IT trainings in “PHP web development”, trainings in entrepreneurship and direct incentives for self-employment, as well as a range of activities on harmonization of labor supply and demand, and improvement of efficiency of labor market.
The project will result in new employment in sectors of metal processing and IT, self-employment in newly established SMEs that will be provided with mentoring and financial support, as well as improved efficiency on labor market through involvement of all key actors and preparation of action plan.
Local Employment Partnership LEP Krajina is one of 20 LEPs established in BiH within the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), funded by the European Union in the amount of 4 million EUR and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The project aims to contribute to better employability in local communities through local employment partnerships and enhance the skills and employment prospects of people disadvantaged in the labor market.
