Project INER – INtelligent Energy management and Renewable energy sources promotion is financed within Interreg IPA CBC Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro programme. The Main project objective is to increase energy efficiency, use of renewable energy sources and intelligent energy management in target CBC area through promotion, raising awareness, improving knowledge, competences and enabling transfer of best practices between project territories.
Project partners are: City of Ilok and EU Centar in Croatia, LIR Evolution and Municipality of Laktaši from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Old Royal Capital Cetinje and Local Democracy Agency from Montenegro. Project activities include development of local building typologies, scenarios for EE improvements, energy audits in public buildings, energy management trainings and implementation of demonstration actions in all target municipalities.
LIR Evolution will implement project in Municipality of Derventa. It will develop the local building typology, conduct 5 energy audits and prepare recommendations and scenarios for EE improvements, conduct energy rehabilitation and improve heating system in the local school, organize energy management trainings with utilization of modern software solutions for calculation of energy efficiency and identification of EE measures.
The expected results of the project are:

The main expected outcomes for LIR Evolution are increase capacity of renewable energy through demonstration action targeted at energy efficient rehabilitation of two public buildings in Derventa, reduced costs of energy, reduced CO2 emissions, developed local building typology and carried out energy audits of public buildings.
The project is implemented as part of the Interreg IPA Cross-border cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014. – 2020., priority axis 2: Protection of the environment and biological diversity, improvement of risk prevention and promotion of sustainable energy and energy efficiency.
The project is cofinanced with EFRR and IPA II funds of the European Union.
Total project budget: 1.154.867,72 €
EU cofinancing (85%): 981.637, 54 €
Project duration: 30 months from 01.07.2020 to 31.12.2022.
