Conference on topic of energy management was organised in Laktaši, as part of INER project, by partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Municipality of Laktaši and LIR Evolution. At the beginning of the conference project INER was presented and its main objectives and activities, with presentations on energy management and use of renewable energy sources. A panel discussion was held then on the topic of energy transition of Western Balkan countries with distinguished panelists discussing the importance of efficient energy management, energy audits and use of renewable energy sources, as well as possible financing sources for realisation of improvement measures. The goals and plans of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of energy transition in the terms of production of energy from renewable sources and reduced greenhouse gasses emission were presented.
Project partners from BiH, Croatia and Montenegro held a coordination meeting in order to track achieved results and harmonize realisation of remaining activities with the focus on demonstration actions which include use of renewable energy sources in 12 public buildings, energy rehabilitation of 2 public buildings and setting up of a solar park.
