Partner organizations LIR Evolution and Nešto Više implement the project “EU support to improvement of labor and human rights through digitalization”.
The goal of the project is to strengthen awareness, improve knowledge, protect, promote, and educate target groups on digital technologies for improving quality of life in the context of labor and human rights. The project will contribute to strengthening knowledge of the employed marginalized groups in BiH about digital and labor rights, as well as occupational health and safety, in order to support dignified work.
Through the implementation of the project, meetings with target groups will be organized, grants will be awarded for projects of local civil society organizations, educational activities will be organized on the topics of human rights and occupational health and safety, ICT and improving communication skills in the online environment. As part of the educational activities, the project results will be presented: Report on the state of human, digital rights and occupational health and safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Guide on human and digital rights.
Pilot application “Business Advisor”, with information on human and digital rights, occupational health and safety; and a questionnaire about employers and their attitudes towards mentioned rights, with the possibility of promoting the best employers as examples of good practices, will be developed for 10 local communities.
Through the project, civil society organizations will have the opportunity to apply for grant funds of up to EUR 6,000.00 for implementation of projects and capacity building in the areas of human and digital rights, occupational health and safety.
The project is financed from EU funds through the Thematic Program for Human Rights and Democracy.
